Dachshunds may be puny little wiener dogs, but they have enormous personalities. They are curious, playful, loyal, and often convinced that they are much bigger than they actually are. Dachshunds don't need big houses or lots of exercise to be happy either.
Due to their elongated spines, jumping from beds, couches, or stairs can increase the risk of back injuries; therefore, investing in ramps and managing their weight can help protect these dorks.
